Welcome!
Thank you for visiting the Oakville Montessori and Preschool website!
To introduce myself, my name is Ayesha and have been a Montessori teacher for over 20 years. I am a Montessori, MACTE, certified teacher with CASA training, that is training that focuses on children from ages of 2.5 years old to 6 years old. I have a true passion for what I do and love to see the "lightbulb" turn on when children get it. To practice Maria Montessori's philosophy, I decided to open my own Montessori in my home over 16 years ago. I take children starting from the age of two and half years (2.5 yrs).

Tutoring is Now Available
Does your child need extra help with language or mathematics? Montessori methods can be applied to help your child excel in reading or math and feel confident in class. Many of my students have siblings who come for some reading or math tutoring and encouragement after school. Please contact me if you are interested for rates and timings.
What is Montessori?
Many people have questions about Montessori.
"What is it?"
"How was it developed?"
"How is it different from early child hood education or the existing education system?"
Simply, the Montessori system of education was developed by Maria Montessori. Montessori is a method of observing and supporting the natural development of a child. Montessori helps develop creativity, problem solving, and critical thinking through a self directed sensorial approach to learning.
